Bar Bario is more than just a bar: it's a living room, creative hub, and safer space built for us, by us.
Rooted in the meaning of bario (“neighborhood” in Papiamentu), we exist to celebrate community, culture, and care. What began as a local pub for the Queer and BIPOC community, has grown into a home for connection, creativity, and the people who shape Amsterdam’s culture every day.
